What are your shipping options and policies?

Currently, we are only shipping domestically to the United States (all 50 states and Washington, DC). If you are outside of this area and would like to still do business, please contact us at hello@localfarmgirl.com to see if arrangements can be made.

For our US retail customers, we offer shipping rates of:
• Free shipping on orders over $80
• $8 on orders from $0 to $80

For our US wholesale customers, we offer shipment options through USPS and UPS. The shipping cost will be calculated by our carrier rates and will depend on order size and destination.

Are your hand-dyed felted wool colors solid or mottled?

Dyed for a solid, all-over color effect, our hand-dyed felted wool is made to give you consistent and repeatable colors to utilize in your making. While we pride our hand-dyed felted wool products on their reliable, solid coloring, minor tonal-play might still occur as it is still part of the hand-dying process.

Has your wool been felted?

Yes, wool becomes felted during the hand-dying process.

Will the color of the felted wool, yarn, and/or product I receive be exactly the same as the color on the website?

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in our store. There are many factors that can affect how the images appear online, including differing computer monitors and settings, and most importantly lighting both of the photo and the location that you are in when looking at the product.
